So when it comes to helping with your financial security, staying healthy, and your personal time, Xeriton Corporation offers you the opportunity to participate in one of the best benefits programs available for technology companies located in the Pacific Northwest. Eligibility is limited to full-time employees and coverage begins on the first calendar day of the month after your date of hire.

Financial Security

Financial security is about more than your paycheck. It's even about more than planning for your retirement. That's why we offer a number of programs that can help with your financial security and keep you moving toward your goals.

  • 401(k) Savings Plan - You may contribute 90% of your eligible compensation up to $15,500.00 (2007). Xeriton will match 50% of your voluntary contributions, up to 6% of your eligible compensation.
  • Health and Dependent Care Flex Plan Accounts - Pay healthcare premiums with pre-tax dollars, and set aside additional pre-tax dollars to be used to pay for unreimbursed health expenses and dependent daycare expenses.
  • Life Insurance - Every employee enrolling under our medical plan receives a death benefit of $30,000 and an additional accident & dismemberment policy of $30,000.
  • Voluntary Life Insurance - If you are covered under the basic life plan, you can purchase additional life insurance for yourself (up to $500,000 or 7 times your salary). If you enroll for this plan, you can also enroll your spouse for up to 50% of your elected amount, and your children for $2,500 each.
  • Short-Term Disability - After 14 days of being disabled, our short-term disability plan provides a benefit of 60% of your pre-disability earnings, to a weekly maximum of $1,800. Coverage can continue up to 24 weeks. Xeriton pays 100% of the cost of this coverage for you.
  • Long-Term Disability - If you are still disabled after 180 days, our long-term disability plan would reimburse 60% of your pre-disability earnings to a monthly maximum benefit of $8,000. Xeriton pays 100% of the cost of this coverage for you.

Staying Healthy

Xeriton Corporation provides you and your family with a range of services that help keep you healthy - physically and financially. Because when you're recovering from an illness or injury, you want to be able to concentrate on getting better. Our range of benefits helps make that possible.

  • Medical - We offer the very best medical insurance available through the NW Tech program using the Premera Blue Cross network. $150 Deductible (waived for office visits, preventive care and prescription drugs). Higher in-network benefits ($10 office co-pay; 100% coverage most other services). Out-of-network benefits (70% coverage most services). $1,500 calendar year coinsurance out-of-pocket maximum per year. Xeriton pays 96% of the cost of the monthly premium for you. You pay just 4% of the cost of such premiums.
  • Prescription Drug Plan - Prescriptions are covered at 100% after co-pays. $10 for generics; $20 for brand-name; and $40 for non-formulary.
  • Vision Plan - For those enrolling in our medical plan, you also receive our premium vision care. One exam per 12 months; $10 co-pay for exam; two lenses per 24 months; one frame per 24 months; and $30 co-pay for hardware.
  • Dental - We offer MetLife dental coverage for you and your eligible family members. Xeriton pays 96% of the cost of the monthly premium for you. You pay just 4% of the cost of such premiums.

  • Employee Assistance Program - This is a confidential program to assist you with a number of issues, such as work-life, financial, and health. This programs includes assistance electronically, over the phone, and even face-to-face visits if necessary. Xeriton pays 100% of the cost of this coverage for you.

Your Personal Time

At Xeriton Corporation we realize that you have a life beyond your career. And that the more rested and refreshed you come to work, the more energy you have to contribute to our company and our customers. We also realize that, occasionally, emergencies crop up, and that you need time off to handle them.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - Xeriton provides regular full-time employees with paid time off to use for personal reasons such as vacation, illness, or injury. During the first three years of employment (subject to successful completion of a sixty day orientation period), your PTO will accrue at a rate of 13 days per year. After the third completed year of employment, your PTO accrual rate increases to 18 days per year. After the seventh completed year of employment, your PTO accrual rate increases again to 23 days per year.
  • Paid Holidays - Xeriton provides nine paid holidays per year (for 2007, this includes New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
  • Paid and Unpaid Leaves of Absence - You may take paid leave for jury duty and bereavement. You may also apply for unpaid leaves for medical, personal, or military reasons.
